The riding comfort is too good in the Himalayan .We should appreciate the low set seat position which ensures the riders leg are in reach of the ground below at all times while the perfectly synchronized foot pegs and handlebar placement ensures a comfortable upright riding posture. The instrument cluster includes the hazard blinkers, a compass, temperature, do meter, fuel gauge which is big informant to the rider.

The Himalayan comes up with a 5 speed gearbox with a good gear ratio. Even though the gears are not smooth and feels a bit clumsier. The front and rear brakes comes up with 21 inch and 17 inch disc brakes. The rear brake tends to lock which affect while you are offroading. But a bit of understeering may will not result in a fall, thanks to its well-designed chassis and suspension set up.Himalyan comes up with a monoshock suspension and a front telescopic suspension. Which ensures a smooth landing when you are once air born. The handling is improved by the Half-duplex split cradle frame.

Himalayan comes up with an ex-showroom price of 1, 85000 rs in Trivandrum. Which is priced much lower than the new Mahindra mojo and KTM duke 390.
